Hey all, I am completely new to this so to start off with hi.

I have come into possession of a Fiero formula, she is a v6 with a 3 speed auto

She has 140 k miles on her and I am quite surprised I haven't had a breakdown since i bought her around christmas but cars always have liked me for some reason.

So I am trying to keep her going; fighting that uphill battle.

I wanted to ask if anyone can help, I'd like to do a 3800sc swap, I know of West Coast Fiero (I live on Vandenberg AFB so the central coast of cali) and that's 3 hrs away which is gonna be a pain in da bleep.

Besides I'd like to do things myself if possible.

Any thoughts people can share would make my day, things like 3.4 DOHC easiest swap ever or LS1 is waaaaaay to much of a pain.

idk, I'm just getting by but i need help with a direction.

Thanks guys.

I should also clarify, my car is also registered to cali so i have to abide by those rules.

I have no clue how to do engine swaps in cali.

The only thing I've seen is that West Coast Fiero does do a cali legal 3800 s2 sc swap for fieros.

If that's the case what kind of damage is that going to do to my wallet?

I think for a swap to be legal in California, you must swap everything from engine, all emissions related equipment, mufflers, etc, etc.
