On my way back home from the 30th I rolled 88,888.8 miles on my 88 GT. What a great time the 30th was and it was awesome to put faces and names to a bunch of people on the forum. Thanks to all who helped put the event together and great job!
It's fitting. 1988 is as far in the past today as 1955 was in Back to the Future. High School kids today see our Fieros like 80s kids looked at '55-'57 Chevies, but not as cool.

I just finished my first year of college and only the kids that are into cars even know what they are or when they were made. I was telling my one friend how it's unique because the engine is behind you to which she replied, "well where are they normally?"

I got my '88 Formula in Mar2008 with 5,200 km on it. It now has 22,700 km on it so at that rate, I'll be seeing 88,888.8 about this time of the year in 2039 when I'm 82. Hmmmm...
