Currently working on installing the gauges into mine. Just about 3/4 done redoing the needles as well while everything is out.

Looking pretty sharp. I will post pictures when completed.

Can you let me know if they make a humming sound when they are turned on after you install them? I had a set about 9 years ago and they made a sound when they were on like an electrical hum.

I have speedhut overlays in my car and I love em. They don't make any noise that I've noticed. I did have a set once I bought on ebay (not speedhut) and they made a faint high pitched whine when you turned them on but was not noticeable when the car was running.

Yep I have a small humming when they are on glow and not backlight. I have not heard back from them on why it does that.

No they are overlays with a glow backing. They are placed over the current gauges with double sided tape. You have to remove the needles to put the over lays on. I will post pictures when I have everything set up.

I don't recall mine ever making any noise either. Perhaps the humming is coming from the potentiometer assembly? (the one that adjusts light output)

Just to clarify what a lot of people think....you do NOT need to remove the needles to install these. If you do, good luck getting an accurate placement of the needles afterwards. Here is a thread that I created about installing these:

So do you have to email SpeedHut now? You used to be able to customize them on their site?

You do have to call them now to customize the Fiero overlays.

At least they are offering them for sale again! (and for that I bump this thread!)
