About the Event:
Now in its 23rd year, the Cameron Park Show N’ Shine & Fly- In has become an exciting, major community event, attracting over 2,500 visitors in 2010. Production is a collaborative effort between Soroptimist of Cameron Park and El Dorado Hills and Cameron Park Rotary to fund a wide range of community programs and projects. Through the years, it has expanded to attract more members of the community and enthusiasts of airplanes and vintage cars.
In 2010, over 20 vintage aircraft and 250 classic cars were displayed and judged in several categories by a panel of judges. In addition to the cars and planes, over forty-five community organizations, sponsors and vendors lent their support. Cameron Park Fire Department, local Boy Scout troops, the Ponderosa High School Marching Band, Civil Air Patrol, Shingle Springs Chamber of Commerce and Cameron Park Fire Department Explorer Post all participated in the day-long event. Cameron Park Rotary’s Team Pancake served over 200 hungry visitors earning the Ponderosa High School Interact Club nearly $1,000 for their activities.
We haven't gone for several years either, but both times we did it was a great show. Let us know how it is and post some pictures if you can. Maybe we can make it next year.

As I mentioned to you earlier I will be there but I will flying in with my dad. It would be great to see Donovans's car again also. Any chance he is coming also? You know, other than my car there has been NO Fiero representation at Cameron Park for several years now. Glad you're going to make it this year. Kit

Thanks for posting the vid. Those T-6's were pretty cool. Had a great time with my dad. Flying weather was great although it was quite bumpy flying in and out of Cameron Park. Wish I would have had the time to sit and chat but Dad gets a little impatient if I spend too much time talking to all the car guys. Anyways, thanks for representing Fiero's Carl. Take care....Kit

Wow! Great pictures, Carl--beautiful red Fiero too! Love the pics and videos of the T-6s--what a great sound!! I want that Flintstones car though--at least until the gas prices come back down a little! The better half wants that original old panel van! We'll try to make it next year!

Geez...3 Red Fiero's? Sweet.... Wish I had been able to go. Could NOT get away from working today! My dad had reserved the plane in advance so he went flying without me. Just not to Cameron Park...... Kit
