Are the ground effects the same between the gt and the notch back bodies? I am looking at an 87 gt with broken ground effects on the drivers side but the owner has an 85 notch back with what appears to be the same ground effects. will they fit?

Are you referring to the rocker panels? If so, all aero rockers are the same.

yes the rockers. You say aero do you mean fast back design? If so then the notch back type will not fit?

Are we talking about the roof... or about the aero trim?

Fastbacks and notchies can both have aero trim. Aero rocker panels are all the same.

That would be an 85GT... and yes, it will fit. 85GT, 86SE, 87SE (and 84 Indy) were called aero-trimmed. The fastback also used aero trim.

Anything with a straight line can be used for the ground effects. So plenty of other cars could be used. Mine are custom from GTO
