Not likely. Still has HEI and EMP will likely fry ICM, one or both coils, for a start.
Any motor and relay can fry too... fuel pump and relay, starter, etc.

Which is ironic, considering that probably made whatever accompanying headlight upgrade he did completely redundant.

Too bad, would actually be a decent-looking car without them.
