Hi all, I used to rebuild quite a few GM headlight motors
but I dont do this anymore.
So, I have some Delrin rod that I want to give away to whoever wants it.
What I have is approx 5 ft of 7/16 inch rod and 2 ft. of 1/2 inch rod.
The 7/16 rod will work "as is" but it's a little undersized and will
have a little play when the motor is switching back and forth. The 1/2 rod
is slightly oversized and will need to be turned down on a lathe or you can
manually grind it down on a grinder or sander to make them a nice, snug fit.
Even with a 2 ft. long 1/2 rod, that will allow you to rebuild many headlight motors.
