Saw this while looking for something else on Craigslist... It's listed as a "parts car"..

$8,000:

Not mine, no relation, etc.. Just thought I'd post it in case anyone's looking; I don't usually see stuff like this in the local Craigslist pages...

Four years ago, after 22,000 trouble free V8 miles, the ZZ4 momentarily seized while cruising at 70 MPH. After the seizure it ran briefly with a rap but I put it into storage. It was never abused and it’s been sitting in my barn ever since. It turns over but will not run.

I don't think its seized if it turns over and it ran when he put it in storage. I think it just shut off on him going down the road.

Either way, it sounds like the motor needs some work... "After the seizure it ran briefly with a rap "

Kind of like the housing market. He's probably got 15k in the car, but it's only worth 2.5k or so...hard to let it go for 1/6 what you have in it.

From the CL add:
The “build” of this car can be seen under Customer Cars on the V8 Archie website. See the car listed under V8 Steve. I have an album with all the build pictures. Total investment in this car was around $20K.
