I originally bought these somewhat rare Compomotive 16" wheels (only) in 2007 for $450.00. These are made in England. I then sent them out to Wheels Of America for refinishing at $125.00 each. The front wheels are 16" x7's, the rears are 16" x8's. Then one of our club members put Dunlop Direzza tires on them in early 2008. (fronts are 215/55/R16's, rears are 225/55/R16) Tires were approx. $425.00 including balancing. Total investment of $1375.00. They were used on a Formula during 2008 for various shows, so they have less than 5K on the tires. The rims look like new. The center caps are from a Pontiac Solstice with the Pontiac crest. Picture of the tires on the Formula shown below. Would prefer not to ship, but.... $950.00.
What's the offset? Judging by the pic of the formula, I would say they are around a 38mm offset.
I would love to have these wheels! To me, this is my favorite style of wheel and they look good on practically every car in existence. If I hadn't spent money on new wheels for my GTI, these would be mine, but alas, I don't have the money now

I never measured the offset, but they are close to 38-42. On the 88 fronts, they do show a little over the fender lip, rears look perfect. I never had them on a 84-87 suspension to see if there was any excess showing. Whenever this car was at a show, the wheels were always a topic of notice and discussion!

Sorry, the car was sold recently. I would say that on the 88, it was about 1/4" to 1/2" outside the vertical fender line edge. THe rears were just inside the fender line.

Man those would look awesome on my XTC. Too bad my private jet is in the shop for repairs or I'd fly right up and grab those wheels. Good luck on your sale.
