My only lock key broke before I was able to get a copy made. Now I can't access my trunk/ engine compartment. I am hoping a locksmith with be able to pick it to open it so i can replace it.

If any one has one let me know, or if you know of a way to get it open I am all ears.

Also I heard that it is possible to get a new key from a GM dealer. I was thinking it wouldn't hurt to call them, but can I call just any GM dealer by me or do I have to call a Pontiac specific one?

Thanks in advance fr any help

Cars an 88 notch if that makes any difference

You can go to any GM Dealer, give them the VIN and they can make you a set of keys.

What kind of truck is it. LOL

if your still in need of one by this weekend, ill probably be making a trip to the junkyard and can probably pick one up.

As far as getting into your trunk, If you shove a screwdriver into the cylinder and pound it in, you can typically turn it and unlatch it. I used that as my trunk key for a while
