It was a 4 but he made a deal then really harassed the guy on when he could pick it up,, what he was going to get or in this case he removed the cradle with everything on it, hacked all the stuff to get it out and refused to give it to the guy. Real shame someone would even think of doing this. He refused to give him any of the stuff and the guy was heart broken but wanted the car so bad since it is rare he carefully got it on the truck with no rear suspension. I was sick when I heard about it.



He was trying to find everyway he could to get more money from the new owner and that in my book is cold and wrong. I am going to talk to a few lawyers to see what they think about theft. Good case since it is a one of a kind and the seller new this so why would he sell it with main components taken out. Heck everything in the ad's stated $2,600 with blown engine. Nothing states with complete read gone and you have to pay more for it. I do see he was trying to get more money for other stuff and now see why he has so many negatives in his rating bar. SC

Calm down, my god. I really hate it when people go around and have to make things up. The car was sold without the drive train, (I have all the emails to prove that was the case) the new owner did not know what that meant and never asked. He thought that "no drive train" meant it did not work but he did not care because he was going to replacing it anyhow with something else. Just before the last payment was to be paid he asked what no drive train meant and it was explained to him. We all know what that means? right? The car was first sold to someone on this board and at that time is was going to sold as a complete car that deal fell thru and the eBay auction failed to get a buyer. I then committed to another member to buy his HO quad 4 set up to put in the car. At that point I pulled the drive train 2 days after that the new owner comes along and was told "no drive train" he was OK with that. When the new owner contacted me the drive train WAS OUT OF THE CAR and had been for 2 days. He had some issues with funds ( I won’t go into that here) after extending the terms for him and letting him make payments and extending him even more time with him knowing fore well that this car NEEDED to be out of here by a set time that got extended as well, it got to the point it had to go once the snow fell the car would be stuck in my shop for the winter.

So you will lost all respect for me because I parted the car out? the same car that no one wanted to buy. I was going to restore it after the first buyer I had backed out and the eBay auction ended with out a sale, hence the new HO motor. So I should hold onto a car for ever because it was a prototype? You should have bought it then and added it to your collection.

Well so far I have been threatened to be seen at the 25th anniversary by this guy and the new owner is having trouble for something I said which is really wrong. You are now threatening him and calling his home. A good businessman deosnt handle things like this. I have been promised emails to show I was wrong about the new owner but nothing. Hmmm I love the new era of telling the truth and having your property and life threatened. If your wrong your wrong. I want to know why you took the cradle and suspension so the guy could get it home easily? I want to know why you hacked it up?? I want to know why you still charged the $2,600 you were asking when you went planning on taking any parts off of the car. Simple questions arent they.

Well I am not running from anything but Jack is so I will pull everything I said after I thought about it long and hard. Its not fair I get blasted over this. I do have Jacks email about waiting to see your response when I posted on this. It now apears Jack got me tangled in something he was afraid to do. I expected him to post after my initial post but I see I was a Patsy. It is not fair to me that I get tore up over his problem.

I do not speak for Jack (like some others here do) but as of last August when the car was sold the plan was for it to be restored, the plan was 88 rear suspension, V8 and to restore the body. Jack may have changed his plans since then. Rick may know more then I do on that if it has changed.

I did you a favor and you know what I’m talking about. That was and is not a threat I was just letting you know. The first email was before I saw the post here and was in reply to your email to me the second one was to add to what I forgot to tell you in the reply to your email. Also just do a "search" on this guy and you will see how this is a common occurrence for Tim. He gets caught up in this allot and never answers the real question at hand. I now remember the dealings I had trying to buy the #188 Indy plates https://www.fiero.nl/forum/Forum4/HTML/029192.html . I wanted both plates but he refused to sell them to me. He wanted more money and tried to get what I offered for the pair, on one since he seen how mcuh I was offering. He ended up separating the pair of ""Collectors Plates" to make money. He wouldnt even give me a price for both after I asked. He in no way wanted to keep them together like they should have stayed. A pair of Indy Plates are very rare and rare now that Tim seen dollar signs.

I just looked at the rest of my emails from last night and I got a email from two of your fellow club members, and it just so happens they are very good customers of mine both don't like you and one said to me to tell you remember a cookout that you all went to, of course that means nothing to me but show you they are who they say they are if it means something to you. They stated that you asking for them to goto PFF and give me a negative to try to get me banned, now you have crossed the line.

Here is what I can glean from the post above. SC is pissed at Fieroparts for selling a car without an engine and suspension, but the new owner has never chimed in with what happened from his perspective. So Fieroparts post what is supposed to be an email from the new owner that confused me even more because it is addresses to Fieroparts, but he is calling Fieroparts Rick, when Fieroparts name is Tim... and then SC and Fieroparts get into an internet shouting match over the car, and we still have not heard anything from the new owner.

Okay, so here is my question. If the new owner is really upset or disappointed about the deal, why didn't he post his thoughts instead of having someone else speak on his behalf?

I tend to agree that it borders on unethical to sell a one off car without the suspension and engine, but didn't the new owner have the opportunity to back out if he felt he was being ripped off? I know if I wanted the car real bad but I felt like I was being taken, I would have walked away... period.

here are some answers to your questions. I got a call from the new owner Jack. He was still upset over this car and said once he drove from Cleveland Ohio area to Maine to pick up this car after allot of trouble from Tim he was screwed when he got there. He said the issue was still that after all the crap he got from Tim he still wanted the car and that was what really mattered to him after this long drive and a hired hauler. But he still had a bad taste in his mouth over the whole deal. He told it to me at which point it upset me also. From many many dealings I have seen from Tim and my past tries to buy along with the many stories of issues with him, I felt I should let this story be known. At this time I thought Jack the new owner who was all for me posting would chime in.
Then Tim started calling and leaving messages then emailing Jack scaring him to the point he begged me to pull some of my postings. Apparently he sent a copy to Tim who had to post it. I decided to email Tim to tell him I was pulling my post and was sorry for this since Jack would not come out of the wood work now. Tim proceeded to email me some more nasty emails. I posted on the board about pulling and saying if he didn't I would put my post back up. At this time he was free and clear of a future reference to what he did with this car. He then post some more trash and lies to try and make me look bad to which point he said its 10:30am I am done with this do what you feel you have to . Well I emailed again and more trash talk. I then put my post back up.
I know get more emails asking what to remove??? Then followed by a trash talk again dragging more people into it and stating I didn't give him enough time basically to pull his post. He has lied, dragged others into this, threatened me and Jack which made the original post turn into a defensive posting for me. I do not need this guy ruining me over his selling practices. I tried to put a end to it and apologized, I agreed to read Jacks [Buyers} emails to settle what Tim said was Jacks fault and Tim told me he was sending the emails.

I hope this makes a bit of sense as I did a few things.
1st} learned about this.
2nd) posted what I knew with a question to Tim.
3rd) put up with threatening emails and PM's
4th) responded now that I knew Tim did this
5th) tried to settle it with Tim by pulling all of my post since owner ran and hide
6th) put up with more down right nasty emails and threats
7th) still tried to get Tim to pull his post and end this so I don't get dragged down with him from the backdoor tactics he as pulling instead of emails and proof he didn't skank Jack and try to get more money from him for the whole rear end he pulled.
8th) am now seeing I may have to defend my actions as he is getting more people to give me negatives.
9th) very disheartened over the whole deal as I should have left it alone but now that Tim keeps at it pretty much have no choice but to defend myself.

This was not my intentions in the beginning and by apologizing and pulling my post showed I thought that I was willing to apologize and end it after the new owner ran.
