Do you have pics of the scoops as they come? I assume I'd have to cut out the opening?

Any word on the mesh, btw?

No you don't have to cut out the opening. It is preformed and comes as you see it above (except for surface finishing and painting).

Mesh? You lost me. Do you mean the mesh covering for the intake? If so most people use a PU glue or RTV to hold them in place.
Your scoops are on the way!! Thanks for ordering. I would like some pix posted when you have them on.

Max is working on it, he has the skirts cut and fitted to the underside pieces, I think he has them sanded and ready for primer and then paint and clear coat... I told him he needed to take pics of the fitting process and grinding/glueing/cutting etc. but he said he didn't really need to... lol... It is taking a little while to paint the car because he has to paint a few pieces, put them on the car and then do a few more... I think he's down to the hood, deck lid, skirts and that's pretty much all that's left... Hoping the weather continues to co-operate so he can get it all done here soon...

He will probably wait to do pics until he gets the car pretty much put back together... it's actually looking like a car now... it looked so bare with all the panels off and sitting up on jack stands with no wheels... but we got that fixed, got my new tires and they are mounted and on the car! He figures middle of Oct. to be done... but we'll see... lol..

Ah man, you wouldn't believe how nice those look on the car and painted!! I don't care if there's a layer of dust an inch deep on it.. that purple is gorgeous... and those skirts are fantastic!! He did say he had an easier time with the skirt that went on the 88 door piece as opposed to the one that went on the 85 door piece (had to use it from the car we retired on the 88 cause it was missing or damaged too badly to be repaired ). I've been trying to get him to get some pictures taken... I think he did post one in the build up thread... but the skirts weren't installed yet... so I guess that won't do you much good... lol.. He is still trying to beat the weather and get it all done being painted, he's down to like 3 pieces to paint yet.. the side window scoops and the back tail light panel which he had to resand and reprime because the flat black paint wasn't automotive.. ugh...what a mess, the primer just literally melted the paint beneath it... Anyway... I'll try and get him to post soon!!

OK, OK..... here are the pics!!!

And one somebody took of some ugly guy working in the engine compartment....

They look pretty good on there. I had one small problem, on the right side the fiberglass panel stuck upward about 1/2 inch in the middle of the door channel, had to cut the door area off it and refiberglass it. Wasn't too much extra work, since I fastened them on with SMC panel adhesive and smoothed them into the rocker panels instead of screwing them in place.

Thanks for such a beautiful product!!

Are the rear light panels still available? Would like a set, but am a little worried about availabilty of the lens. I like the round solid red look.
Thanks

Yes the rear panels are still available. Don't worry about the lens' they are from Hella and are available from them.
Let me know if you want one because I have to order it from Dietmar. That will take a couple of weeks.
