Interested in the version with compass only. A thermometer in a car doesn't seem all that necessary to me. I had to step outside to get in the car, so I pretty much know what the temperature is going to be when I get out of it... But I can see the attraction. Sure does look cool.

At any rate, I'd like to know the price, including shipping. I'd pay with Paypal.

What AM I to do?

Eddie – I got my mirror yesterday, just as you & the tracking number stated. I was like a kid in a candy store, as this has got to be one of the coolest non-required upgrades that I have done to my car. I put ‘er in there, w/o the wires yet, and was just wow’d. I can’t want till I'm able to get that thing hooked up. This damn thing does more than you said – I was reading the instructions / install information, and it does all kinds of things.

I have been very impressed with the packaging and quality of the unit thus far. For those waiting to get theirs, take 1o – I have yet to see anybody that has been screwed by Ed to date. Yes, there have been delays, but were those not due to his supplier?

Very cool product Eddie, and for what I’d have to have done to get all this out of a yard - & have it still be used, I’d have paid more, and most likely been not nearly as pleased.

That being said I'm glad you like the mirror. It is the best thing under a hundred dollars you can put in a car that you'll get the most satisfaction from.

Kevin, I should have a used Gentex mirror with the compass and dimming. I also can get a new mirror that is a new style mirror with the compass and dimming. Here is the picture of what a used one looks like. These are forty dollars shipped and a brand new one is 170.00 shipped. I can also get homelink and Onstar mirrors.

Homelink. That's the system that lets you program your garage door opener, etc in? Anything else required with that or do you just use one of your current garage door openers to 'learn' the code? And it has a compass built in too or not? What's the price on those? And do you have any pics of t?

Kevin, yes homelink gives you the ability to program anything that uses an RF signal like the garage door opener. It also comes with a compass. The price is 249.95 with shipping inlcuded. It looks like this, but without the temperature.

I believe I'll take the used Gentex compass/dimming mirror for $40, assuming it's in good condition. Does that include wiring and instructions? I'll use Paypal. You've probably already listed it but, since you'll be replying anyway, what's your Paypal email address?

Alright, got a few questions:

1. These still available?
2. The price back up to $109.95, or are they still $84.95?
3. I'd be paying with PayPal, but I'd be sending an eCheck, as I don't have a credit card. Sending an eCheck is fee-free, so would I still need to tack on the $2.50?

1986 Fiero GT, the sale has ended on March 1st. The price with shipping is back to 109.95 Unfortunately when you have a business account, Paypal still charges for accepting echceks or any other payments.
