Super rare 1987 GM Muncie 5 speed product service-training manual (P/N GM 17004.04-1). It was used by the GM Training Center to teach GM Certified Mechanics how to rebuild and maintain the Muncie Getrag 282 manual transmission. The book contains the following sections: description and breakdown of the manual drive system (including specs), powerflow, diagnosis, on-car service, and unit overhaul, and covers the following MUNCIE GETRAG 282 (MG282) 5-speed transaxles:
1986-1987 Pontiac "P" w/ 2.8L PFI (L44)
1987 Pontiac and Buick "J" w/ 2.0 PFI/Turbo (LT3)
1987 Chevrolet, Oldsmobile and Cadilac "J" w/ 2.8L PFI (LB6)
1987 Chevrolet "L" w/ 2.8L PFI (LB6)
1987 Chevrolet and Pontiac "A" w/ 2.8 PFI (LB6)
