I made a tutorial video about replacing knock sensors on the 4.8, 5.3 and 6.0 v8

If any of you need to do this, perhaps it will help. this is my first time making such a video, so any input is welcomed.
Thanks

Overall, nicely done. Good graphics at the beginnings, clear sound at a good level, instructions easy to understand and follow.

Now, these are my complaints with all instructional videos, especially the " I'm one of you guys and I will show you how to do " whatever. I appreciate the information from someone who does the same things I do, but I need a video I can follow. You didn't do most of this, so take it for what it is worth.

1. Write a script. Practice it until you can make the video without the ah, ah, uh, uh. If you have to reshoot 5 seconds please do.

2. Please, please, PLEASE, no bodily function noises. If you have to do whatever, stop recording, get the noise out of the way, start recording again. If you and I are working in your drive way, those noises go with the job. They don't have to go with the video.

3. No jerky, out of focus shots. Your shot of the intake manifold gasket at 20 minutes is very jerky. I can understand what you are showing and saying, but you did a much better job with the rest of the work.

4. Replacing the fuel fuse is a bad shot. The box is barely in the frame. Yes, this is an obvious step, but if you put it in the video make sure I can see it.

5. Cut the shot of your yard and garage after the fuse replacement. Go from the fuse directly to the wheel. You did some editing, edit the needless.

6. You mentioned a service bulletin but you didn't give us the number or where to find it online.

7. More light. Under a hood is a dark place. Put a light above the engine.

Your video work is just a touch short of professional quality, IMHO. A little refinement and you get an A in the class.

Thanks! I just got out of the hospital when I did this lol... Those are all great pointers. .. Not sure I have the energy to do it all, but perhaps I can Peck away at it for a revised version. I was looking at getting a pair of eyeglass camera for filming. This way the viewer can see what I see clearly and it's not hard to hold a camera while doing it.

I've been in and out of the hospital for chrons and needed to fix my truck so I decided to film it. Boy, it sure wiped me out though. By the end I was exhausted and passed out for a few hours!

I didn't the chance to watch the video since I am at work. Overall how long, elapsed time, does it take to to replace the sensors? I see the video is ~23 min long but I have a feeling real replacment time may be a little more.

It's about a 4-6 hour job for a first timer, but once you know what your doing you can do it in two.
