There really out fighting here to ban the use of these electronic cigarettes. I dont know if theyre everywhere, but its just stupid. All that comes out of those is water vapor. I guess we all need to stop breathing too since water vapor is naturally in the atmosphere too.
Tyranny, that is all there is to it. People offended by anything that looks like smoking, even though you can't inhale second hand smoke from something that does not produce smoke.

Not meaning to hijack the thread, but i've said this for years. And that the hydrogen car, being it's exhaust is water vapor, if it becomes popular will do more harm to the planet than internal combustion ever has.

I give up, really I do, WTF is wrong with those politicians other than they just want complete control of everyone and all our money.
You know when it deer season we can shoot the deer, When its beer season we can shoot the bears, I am beginning to think we need a politician season so we can shoot them.
Because I think they are a lot more dangerous than any of the wild animals we have seasons on.

I didn't read the article, but ill take a guess that their excuse for trying to ban them is the recent reports of them exploding in their chargers? Or are they trying to use the pollution angle? lol.. Those hardcore leftys never know when to freakin quit..

pollution angle and that by using them in public places we are sending the wrong message to kids and we will get another generation hooked on nicotine. It's the same rhetoric as before. No personal accountability at all.

So you're saying it's just water vapor that comes out of these things? If so, then are e-cigs simply baby pacifiers for adults?

They pushed something through the legislature here to treat them like any other tobacco product. The Senate shelved it. They said they might look at it someday. My wife found it funny because she asked my Doctor about them because I was thinking of trying them to replace cigarettes. My Doctor told her that they were perfectly safe. He said all it is is flavored water vapor that you can have nicotine added to and that nicotine isn't the dangerous part of cigarette smoke. He said that it's possible sometime down the road they might find that certain flavors, such as the more acidic flavors, might cause some damage but nothing like that as of yet.
I've switched mostly to them now, down to 1 pack a week of regular cigarettes. Hopefully by the end of the month I'll be cigaretteless again.

Congrats!
I am right there with you. A pack every 6 to 8 days. I have not picked up my e cig though. First time I have not used it in 5 years of quitting. Keep working at it. I will too.
