Wow, thats a shame. I enjoy that show. I will say that for someone with a heart condition, he sure smoked a lot. I'm sure that didn't help matters.

I thought he was older than that! He was definitely the most entertaining character on that show. I loved it when he would say "you're stepping over a dollar to save a nickel" (paraphrasing). He was my kind of guy.....a blunt, no nonsense, get the **** done sort of attitude (badly missing in todays world).

Part of why I liked him was his cat was named Muffin, just like mine was.

RIP Roy.... I had never heard that phrase before, I will have to use it as having no patience is my biggist fault.
