I can certainly agree with the first one. My one visit to Cali in the middle of winter, I was wandering around in a t-shirt and jeans and everyone else was wearing heavy winter jackets. I think it was a good 12°C at the time.

Heck, you're fine in a t-shirt up to about ten below freezing if its not windy and you keep moving.

I am from California, and yes, we are weather weenies. Guilty as charged.

But I thought Canadian weather and seasons could be summarized as "winter and tough sleddin"?

Well, we had our day of summer today (10 degrees), so I used it for a road trip to London (didnt get the gun I was after, but DID pick up a bottle opener made from a 50-cal round ) and spent the rest of my summer putting a Kenwood into the truck. Didnt get to the back-up camera or aux lights, but maybe this fall (tomorrow, 6 degrees) then we are back to winter on Monday.

Yeh...well....what would the left coast know, welcome to the great lakes basin. Ya oughta see a lake erie perch boat in this.. Poor Captain is sitting there in Port Dovver, smacking his cane on the floor, bitching that the net froze and the fish are hiding and how is he gonna make a living off the lake....

I dunno....I am eaten frozen perch on a stick. Yummy, Wou;ld be better cooked, but we around here have yet to learn fire. Besides, its too cold to start one. Wood is frozen.

They had snow up to the powerlines the winter before I Was born. Its no coincidence I popped out in september!
