I guess you could have mentioned the car is new to you, and why you haven't been an active member for 6 months BEFORE asking for information. |

We had a 1996 Saturn SL1 (since new) that was bounced into oblivion on an icy highway in 2006 & replaced by a new 2006 Ion.
It's at the age now where repairs are becoming more frequent. I like the factory manuals for the views of the parts etc. - I like to know how things are supposed to be disassembled. Otherwise, it's usually after I break something that I see how I should have taken it apart.
I have the GM 1984 to 1988 Fiero parts catalogue & factory manuals for my 3 Fieros. I actually look at them sometimes even if I'm not researching anything in particular. I spend way too much time browsing PFF & learning about Fieros (& their owners) because, well, obviously I like Fieros! (I'm still driving the '84 SE I bought new in '84)
I have no interest in browsing Saturn forums... an Ion is just a car - maybe if I had a Sky. The sarcastic, patronizing & condescending responses from Joe from Arizona kept me smiling for hours and affirmed my disinterest.
