I've always used Twistd for its simplicity and lack of major security holes. However, I have a new webapp that i'd like to use that may be overly complicated to get scgi functioning as it was intended for use with Apache2.

Does Apache2 have any major security holes? and what should I know before trying to make the switch?

Also, i've never been good at web design. Only implementing small intranet pages for myself. I have a project in mind that i'd like to make public. Where is a decent place to get some basic templates? I am horrible with aligning cells within webpages.
