Big size?
I have 2 craftsman...
1 is T50 in 3/8" drive. I bought that 25+ years for Ford etc Seat Belt Anchor bolts, GM brake sliders, etc. They take allot of abuse.

Small size drivers try Wiha. most made in Germany.
I use them for T10 and down. HP/Compaq loves T5 and T8 for laptops. Need a harden tip to remove HP installed T5 screws or tip will strip.
I use Wing Handle and Precision Screwdrivers
I haven't use their 1/4" bits. They made several styles... steel, SS, steel w/ coatings.

Heh. I forgot to mention...
I got a set of Craftsman tools, back in the 80s. Several hundred piece "mechanics set". (Most of which I still have.)
One of the sockets is machined backwards. (The square drive is machined into the skinny end. The "business" end is machined into the thick end.)
I never traded it in because it's kind of a neat anomaly. Never replaced it because it's kind of an odd size that I never use.

So yeah... The quality was "stellar" even 25 years ago.

For T55 though you'll need Snap-On. Craftsman doesn't go that big (T55 is for the '88 Fiero wheel bearings and brake calipers - I don't know what the earlier years use).

Lisle makes a T55 but you'll probably need to buy a new one every time you do a brake job.

Sears sells them: http://www.sears.com/crafts...rive/p-00934490000P. Also check auto parts stores, as they sell these types of sockets.

Link isn't working.... But you found a T55 there? That's good to know; I should probably order one as a spare (my Sears always stocks T50 as its biggest Torx). And I tend to twist or chip the Lisle T55s.

Hmmm, odd, about the link..... try this:
http://www.sears.com/search...ED&prop17=t55%20torx

(or just search for t55 torx on their site).
