Maybe President Obama ordered it. Maybe Obama just knew it was coming and decided not to stop it. Maybe Obama was away from his desk, committing some unsavory Islamic act of personal recreation (with a turkey?) just before the Thanksgiving holiday. But on Monday evening, two unarmed B-52 bombers on a training mission flew over the disputed Diaoyu islands in the East China Sea, the area that China just declared over the weekend as a new "Chinese air defense identification zone".

The B-52s did not comply with the stated requirement by the Chinese government that all foreign aircraft declare a flight plan and frequency and provide other information before entering the new "zone"--a requirement that the Obama administration has denounced as an unwarranted escalation of the dispute over these islands between China and Japan.

So who's going to be the first to rant about that p*ssy Obama, and explain that a real "alpha male" like Vladimir Putin would have seen to it that the B-52s carried full bomb loads and dropped their ordinance onto the islands?

Hmmm Hadn't heard about it. So I can't really comment. But, I doubt this happened without Mr. Obama's knowledge. Does that give him any credibility with me? Not really. China is not where he seems to favor. That's not suggesting he's earned any points for foreign policy (or anything else). No, I am not a fan, I admit it. I gave him credit for allowing the Seals to do their jobs a few times believing their actions most likely involved some level of Presidential approval.

Mr. Obama and Congress as a whole have the lowest approval ratings I've ever seen. I don't expect those numbers to improve at least until the next give away/entitlement program increase. Yeah, I'm not a fan but, would need more information before praising or being critical of his leadership. Would seem to me, he's already embarrassed us enough but, that's just me.

If polls come back that the majority of Americans support this action, it will be 0bama's idea.
If not, then he will have learned about it from the news the same time the rest of America did.

As to the comments about Obama not knowing: Face it, on any issue where there is any controversy or negative light, Obama tends to plead ignorance on the matter. If this B52 incident spins positive, I've no doubt that he will take credit. If it spins negative, he will claim ignorance, but vow to get to the bottom of it, which of course means that whatever agency was responsible will investigate itself, and find no fault.

I think I could have said that this is a topic that I decided to present (in the way that I presented it) because I wanted to react to some recent and current posts from a particular forum member whose correspondence (in the form of posts) I always like to read and reflect upon. Posts that came up from that member, on a number of different topics here.

Swap the Conservatives with Liberals and Obama with Bush Jr. and you still have a true statement, except many of them still blame Bush Jr. for things happening under Obamas watch. Countries cant just arbitrarily declare what is their territorial space. There are international laws. Airspace is just like oceans. There is a nationally recognized area along shores that are recognized internationally. Past that is open international water. Same for airspace. ie/ US cant say on a whim that water surrounding Hawai 1000 miles out is now US airspace.
