I have seen this a few times, not the video, in real life during my year tour in Afghanistan. It occurs more than one person should ever see. Either at night or even in broad daylight. The Afghans view it as Men as for Pleasure, Goats are for Pleasure, and Women are for Reproduction only.

This Canadian man's name is Brian Anthony Cutteridge. I scanned his treatise "For the Love of Dog: On the Legal Prohibition of Zoophilia in Canada and the United States" and I cannot find any reference that would suggest that he is a Muslim or that his advocacy draws on any identifiably Islamic beliefs. So I think it's safe to conclude (by Occam's Razor) that he's not a Muslim, or at least that Islam has nothing to do with his advocacy and practice of bestiality.

Think otherwise?

Nope.... like most other things I don't blame the religion or all followers of any religion. Christian, Muslim, Hindu, Jewish, Atheist, whatever, every one has people that are messed up I try not to generalize by the larger group like you do bigot.

People performed bestiality and it's about religion or country? I don't think so, it's about the people.....well them and the animal of course

In addition, it is best to wear rubber boots and some velcro gloves. You stick the back legs of your subject in the boots and hold on with the velcro gloves. Also works with well sheep....sheesh, get it right

I don't see that this unsourced bafflegab (from DanDamage) states or even suggests that Muslims are allowed, much less encouraged, to have sex with animals.

According to my research, this verse is from Al-Jahiz, aka Abū ʿUthman ʿAmr ibn Baḥr al-Kinānī al-Baṣrī, born in Basra (in what is now Iraq) in 781.

It's not a verse from the Qur'an.

I think that Al-Jahiz was using the unsavory thought of bestiality as a way to "diss" the various tribes that are named in this verse.

There are at least 6 verses of the Old Testament (easily found) that prohibit bestiality, so the practice was obviously known among the peoples of the Middle East many centuries before Mohammed and the birth of Islam.

"Anonymous Coward" posted a compilation of verses in the Hadith where Mohammed (PBUH) specifically prohibits the practice of bestiality:

I cannot find any sources online to validate this compilation, but it seems more definitive than the short verse from Al-Jihaz which DanDamage put up.

The Qur'an itself does not make any reference to bestiality.

Yahya Snow argues that "Just because a fixed punishment for this sin [bestiality] is not set [by Islamic jurisprudence] it does not mean it is allowed in Islam or that it goes unpunished. In fact, it has been clearly shown that the act [of bestiality] is not allowed in Islam, thus the [Islamic] judge will decide on the punishment for somebody proven to have committed the degrading act of bestiality."
