I went to a Auto plant yesterday to see an operation so that I could help design a new cell for manufacturing an R & D part. The plant was the R & D plant that makes the engines that go into the NASCAR race cars and they wouldn't officially tell me, but I believe they also make the Indy Car engines and some of the American Le Mans racing engine too.
Pretty secretive and high levels of security, but it was kind of open once you got in there because everything was roomed off.
It is pretty neat to be involved with something like this that will help an automotive company produce some radical products for the future.
