All the news shows are making a big deal of how the cast of Glee is saying its touching goodbys to Finn (Corey). How its so sad and whatever. While it is sad he died, he died from his own choosing....using drugs. I dont get worshiping addicts myself. I left my wife for her drug use. I have no use for those who use them illegally.

I havent seen how they have been saying goodbyes but I get your point. Kind of related, there was a news segment last night I caught while flipping channels, a father stating that heroin had "gotten its claws in his daughter and wouldnt let go." Maybe he went on to advise no one get into heroin I dont know, I hope he did. The statement alone I thought was just strange. Of course once someone is dead talking real about them usually ceases. That makes it difficult.

I with you Roger. I don't get why his death is such a big deal. He used illegal drugs and suffered the consequences. It was the same as when Whitney Houston passed, she died from illegal drugs as well, yet it was such a big deal. So much for "Crack is Whack".

I swear Roger... based on what you post sometimes, you've got me convinced that under that grumpy exterior lies the interests of a 16 year old girl.
I dont get it......If you mean because I watch Glee, most of tv viewers do - of all ages. And the cast is all from 25-35 years old...they only PLAY high school kids.

Really? Are you sure? I've never met a single soul that watches it--male or female. If not for it being mentioned here in OT and on the bleedin' heart news, I would never have known it existed. Sounds like it would be like a bunch of hens sittin' around cackling to each other.

All my 30s year old girlfriends watch it, Katie Curic says she watches it, David Letterman says he watches it. My 55 year old sister watches it too, along with my 56 year old cousin and her husband. Not everyone watches much tv these days, especially in summer, but almost everyone I know that does lists it high on their watch lists along with Big Bang Theory (generally cast is the same ages as Glee cast). Being retired, I watch a lot of tv especially in fall and winter...prob all of prime time at least 5 nites a week. I also record 3 or more other channels during primetime every day to have something to watch during the daytime. Even on the island when Im there, I prob watch 6-8 hours a day. Can get boring watching ships pass out at sea from the porch. I dont even have grass there to cut...but I can pick coconuts and bananas off the trees in the yard. I dont want to go to the casino for obvious reasons. It can get expensive just flying around sightseeing and I dont swim or fish. I do want to buy a nice cabin cruiser when the Ohio property ever sells, but then just hanging out on the water can be bad...pirates are around. My uncle has about a 40', 2 mast sailboat with a 50 cal gun mounted on the deck so him and his wife can just relax on their own.
