Found this for $500 in Sabina, Ohio

Says it just needs a fuel pump....seems suspicious to me.
Would make a good donor car for anybody needing parts/kit car!

$500 Fiero

being its a dealer who knows, could be a bait and switch, could be they just don't know what they are doing, but to be honest just what is a non running Fiero worth? depends on you, the buyer and seller now doesn't it. it doesn't give the mileage ether, it could have 300,000 miles on it and it just might not be the fuel pump.
oh ya and besides its black, I would never buy another black car.

$500 sounds about right for a almost 30 year old non-running car

It may be a decent find.
The dealer may just want it gone rather to invest time and money to fix it and potentially find other problems. If it's in decent shape, it's likely worth at least that in parts even if it has other problems.

That's what I paid for my 88. Initial cost is just the beginning though. A new set of good tires will cost more.

I've known people who paid $500 for a tank fuel pump replacement. I've done mine myself for about $100.

That car is worth scrap value. Probably under 200 bucks. Give them 250 no more.

I paid 500 for my 86.... fuel pump / cleaned the injectors, brakes all 4 corners, shocks/struts, new bushings, flushed the engine (oil and coolant), new coolant sensors, new filters, set of tires, and drove it for 2 1/2 years before it spun a bearing, now it has a 3500 in it

That's what I paid for my '85. It wasn't running but it didn't take much to get it there at least on 5 cylinders
