Which didn't you know? That Bloomberg's an idiot, or that we've had nuclear artillery since the '50's?
I'm pretty sure he's talking about depleted Uranium rounds, not nuclear artillery. As for being "aware" of nuclear artillery, maybe you missed the Davy Crockett video above? It would be a neat trick to search for that and post it while being unaware of it.
Primary: The main armament of the M1A1 and M1A2 is the M256A1 120 mm smoothbore gun
Secondary: The Abrams tank has three machine guns:
I imagine you could put a missile launcher on it, but I don't think it's been done. There are better, more mobile modes to use a missile small enough to fit on a tank.

Nuclear hand grenade was a joke we told each other in 1987, it was never meant to be REAL...lol, throw it 15 yards and it will blow a 100-yard hole....

I don't know what the army has, but having served in the Navy on submarines we had some weapons that were pretty decisive. And I am not counting the 16 MERV equipped Poseidon missiles in the middle of the boat. We had something called a subrock. It went out the torpedo tube and had a nuclear armed warhead on it. It would first go off as a missile then go into the water to do a sonar search for another sub and if it found one it blew up a nuclear warhead. The range of flight out was approximately the same as the killing distance for a submarine, so you shot it and ran as fast as you could in the other direction. Then you got to the surface to keep from having the hull crushed by the explosion. We had several of these onboard.
We also had another killer weapon. Something called a fleet destroyer. It had a much larger nuclear warhead on it and only went out as a torpedo. It didn't have a very large range and was very large in firepower. So you only needed one of these weapons since if it was shot you were gone too.
In 91 i was stationed at Ft. Hood TX ( old ironsides) We have also outfitted our M1 with the m151 and m220 launchers for the toe missle. which can be fly by wire or heat seeking. Our most lethal round was a bee hive for ground and light infantry vehicles . imagine the worlds largest and heaviest shotgun pounding you with 1100 10mm tungsten balls in each round at half a mile away. Turns everything to swiss cheese. In the 6 years i was in the army never seen or heard of any of us using Radioactive rounds. Not saying they dont but on Ft. Hood from 91 to 96 we didnt.

Didn't mean to be rude. I wasn't sure just when you'd found out about it.
