I stopped by to pick up some notebooks for work and saw a nice big display of Twinkies & Cupcakes. It looks like Hostess is back. I didn't buy any, but maybe I'll go back and try one to see if they taste the same as I remember.

Supposedly they have special collector packaging with this first shipment.

You never know, a box of them could be worth something.

never liked Twinkies but I did love Hostesses coffee cakes I hope those come back as well made the same way. if not then I could care less like I said about the Twinkies.

We picked a box up today and it had a seal on the box to certify that these Twinkies were from the first new batch. Kinda neat, if you ask me.

My parents loved those coffee cakes too. I prefer the cupcakes, myself. Twinkies are OK, but they were never anything I had to have. Eating one every few months or even years is fine with me, but I could eat those cupcakes everyday!

Bad? No. Stale? Yes. I had a box of them that was given to me as a gift when they stopped making them. My wife told me about them coming back so I finally opened it up to eat some a few weeks back. Yeah, after the first one I gave the box to my kids and told them to enjoy....
