My Internet connection has been extremly slow all day....Maybe because the Heat wave,everyone is slowing things down (?).

Yes

There was a major power outage at the datacenter and the backup generator failed as well. Took them a little time to get a new gen on site and wired in.

PIP stops working quite frequently, and I have trouble uploading pictures. Is this just do to the data center where the photos are being hosted being unreliable?
