I expect that footage to be fake.

Golden eagles are large birds, but they couldn't fly with something that large and heavy.

I always stand in respect (far away from, but in respect) of the falconers who handle the golden eagles. They hold them knowing their gauntlet is there just for show. Meaning, if the eagle wanted he could puncture the layers of leather, their flesh, their bone, and stick out the other side.

I doubt it is fake. I have seen an Eagle take off with a Lamb before.

we just saw one fly overhead yesturday, the dam thing was as big as a Buick i am sure if it was hungry and we had baby goats out in the feild we would have been missing one. but yes they can and do pick up small goats and sheep.
notice the larger goats trying to run it off, if it weren't a threat to them then they wouldn't be doing that.
