Lori was recently in Hungary. She said it was the most beautiful place she's ever been, and that she was treated really well.

Alot of the comments at the link said "Why isn't the US "Avoid some areas?"". I might be wrong, but I think the "Avoid some areas" is probably because of lawless areas where the government or local law enforcement are severely challenged by local militia. We don't really have that here in the US. A tourist probably isn't going to be taken prisoner by a armed rebellion group here...

The map is published by CBC, Canada and is interactive http://www.cbc.ca/news/inte...ves/travel-warnings/

Just click on Japan and this warning comes up:

South Korea is also safe for Canadians to visit according to the map.

Oh--wow--now it's so easy to understand why it's called Greenland.

Oh, you mean like Camden NJ? I definitely avoid that place. I'll let the Michigan people decide about Detroit.

We do have areas to avoid, though.

I have been considering traveling by Greyhound this Christmas in case the airlines are too expensive and I hate hassles If you google Riding Greyhound bus you get all kinds of peoples experiences, its interesting. As the bus is the cheapest there is all kinds of low life's, they caution you to have your wallet in a pocket with a button, never leave any valuables on the bus at a stop. Be aware of who is in the bathroom with you at a station, and so on.

'Ya think ?

There would be many more but local cities and states will not post warnings in fear that new residents will not move in, or tourism dollars will be negatively impacted.

Those are the milder ones.
If you travel far on the grey dog, you'll have some of your own. I'd get on a bus in the P.I loaded with peasants, chickens, pigs and guerrelas again before I ever set foot on another Greyhound. Greyhound buses are screaming infant magnets too.

I had a gf from out of state visit once from Wash DC area. She took a Greyhound home because my plane broke. She vowed to never get on a bus again. Some grungy guy sat across from her and exposed and played with himself while he looked at her.

The bus depot is the drop off point for many released from prison. But some are also dropped at an airline terminal so you never know. Just look for unmarked vans with government plates.
