I voted for west when I lived in FL22, before he was districted out and went to FL23 (or maybe I was districted out to FL23). Either way, I can't possibly understand how you can call Allen West a RINO??? I've met him personally a few times, and even tried to get him to come to the stadium and Dolphins training camp, but he refused... not because he didn't like the team, but because he didn't want to give the impression that he was abusing his authority. The coaches (under Sparano) are all Conservative, so they REALLY wanted to meet him... but he respectfully declined just because he felt it wasn't appropriate as the only reason why he was being invited was because of his position.
Man... I'm just going to say that maybe you don't really know him as well as I do (not personally I mean).
The NDAA gets voted on every year, so I don't know what you mean. You're talking about the National Defense Authorization Act? Military spending bill... he's former military, so he certainly support that.
I think you're going to have to be more specific... because short of me listing tons of examples as to why I think he's ultra-conservative... maybe you can give some examples as to why you think he isn't?
Most of my liberal friends think of him as about as radical Republican as they can get. As far as I'm concerned, he's the next best thing since Ronald Reagan.
