I bought two of these, 1/4" and 3/8 " last month. I was rebuilding my 99 jimmy engine, already had an American made 1/2 ". They are OK, and the price is nice!

I had a 3-8th one that literally fell apart after a couple of uses. I'm weary of its level of accuracy as well, but for 10 bucks for something that doesn't have real exact tolerances it wouldn't be bad.

I had one that fell apart in the tool box never being used.. But i was able to find all the little parts and put it back together easy enough, and i agree, if you don't need perfection, they are fine.

Glad to hear I'm not alone in its fall-apartedness. I think I found all the parts but I never tried putting it back together. I've not tried, but I hear HF will exchange broken tools but I've got a feeling that isn't true. Worth a shot to ask at least though.

It was a 1/4" that fell apart on me. The screws backed out at the top.

They allso have good prices on their breaker bars, about $10,from what I remember.
I actually bent one of the breaker bars from there... but in fairness we were trying to turn a locked up 460 Ford V8 with it and a piece of pipe as a "cheater bar" to try to loosen it up.
[it was a junk motor we were playing with, it wasn't meant to be repaired.]
