OK, so I enjoyed it for what it is, a popcorn movie, but it is sad to see all the heroes of my youth wither away. Stallone still looks great for his age, but the others are in poor shape. The receding hair lines, and bags under the eyes were still very apparent, even with the heavy makeup. Arnold is the worst. Is is a shadow of his former self, and at this point only a joke. His career is over, and he will never do anything else significant. His future only holds cameo's. All in all, if you want to see an extremely violent, poorly written, and even more poorly acted movie, this is the one.
that sucks to hear i liked the first one it just had something different about it. i knwo arnold is a has been, his best years were tge kate 80s and early 90s. had he not been governor of cali he might be in better shape not only movie wise but also socailly... well with his affair and all.

The Last Stand (2013) starring Arnold looks to be pretty good, where he plays a small town sheriff and a drug cartel leader is on his way through the town heading towards the border and causing plenty of destruction in their wake... He plans on stopping them... lol

I was pretty surprised at how crappy the acting was. It did eventually seem to flow a little bit, but the interaction between Stallone and Willis at the beginning was painful. Odd pauses and uncomfortable line delivery. And then the endless string of 80's movie one-liner references that kept popping up. It was like they were just making stuff up for them to say. Overall, I suppose I enjoyed it for what it was, a movie with lots of things that go bang, major explosions, and lots of good fighting. The fighting was cool to watch as I saw it with the guy I train poekoelan with, and we sat there pointing out moves that were similar to stuff we do. That part was kinda neat.
