Ken Block is back in the latest installment of his Gymkhana series...
This time, he plays in the ultimate urban playground, San Francisco...

Getting air in San Fran is easy to do.... But try doing it sideways, landing it, and driving away at high speed.

pretty cool.... I can't believe they closed so much of those major arteries and tourist destinations... the upper portion of the Bay Bridge?... Lombard Street?... Twin Peaks?... wow.
impressive logistics stunt in addition to driving.

As 'green' as California claims to be... I am surprised that the city allowed something like this to go on...

Though they did host the Red Bull Racing circuit a few years ago...

Huh, now I remember what a whole lot of extra power is for, choices. My Meteor used to be able to do a U turn with the flick of the pedal and a quick flip with the steering wheel at speed. God help me if I was not at my best, and one day I was not and smashed the car.

Part of that was filmed in front of my sisters apartment. The part where he was doing the figure eights around the cones right before going down Vermont (the hairpin turns). She said she walked home from work to find the roads closed off. She took some pretty cool videos with her phone of him getting some air and doing the figure 8's. Definitely a cool video. Even cooler when you were walking those streets 2 weeks before filming began.
