It's healing, but I'm left with a "weak" chin rather than the actual chin I had before. I have a followup tomorrow to see if they need to cut it open again.
It also left the surrounding skin/tissue uneven. One side of the scar has the skin "lumpy" compared to the other.

I'd rather let it be than have it cut open again. So I am going to tell the doctor that tomorrow if he asks...
Otherwise, no lumps regrowing... Thankful for that.

Discovered a lump in my left breast yesterday, and a lump on my right collar bone where the lymph node is located. No pain, just hard lumps...

Have to get into the doctor again.

Good luck dude, that sucks, breast cancer is a possibility even for men so go right away, I worked with a guy who had it.

Appointment in 30 minutes.

I called to make the appointment and she said "Your doctor is out for the next two weeks. We can schedule you after that."

I said "I just had several growths removed that were cancerous and I now have new stuff."

She said "We can get you in today at 11:30 with this other person.".

Yep. This is gonna be fun.

BTW... I'm sorry I didn't get to talk with you at the 30th. I was in the registration line right behind you, but you were immersed in conversation and (I think) trying to figure something out. I didn't want to interrupt...

Been away for awhile... hope you are doing ok,Synth, and that the lumps are benign

No word. She poked and prodded the lumps, then referred me to a dermatological clinic nearby, as I said the U of M was too far away now that we've moved.

That clinic called me back and said "We can't get you in for at least two months, go back to the U of M."

I told them "They are a one hour one way trip for me now. Can you try and get me in?" She said she'd look.
Ten minutes later, the first clinic called me back and told me the Dermatology clinic called them and told them to tell me to go back to the U of M.

So, no doctor's visit right now. I need to find a clinic that is local to me that can look.

An hour doesnt seem that bad if the U can get you in.

Drive the hour, if you have already had cancerous cells found in other places spend the hour each way is better than waiting weeks or months for an appointment when you are talking about the big C.

because it can take weeks for the results from a biopsy, you know that already.


I don't ever want to lose another friend to C because they waited to long to be tested, hell I wouldn't want to lose even a bad friend to that. it sucks I have watched to many people waste away to many kinds of Cancer over my years and if you don't get off your Ass and drive the hour each way I will get in the Suburban and drive my crotchety old ass over there and drive you myself. and you really don't want me to do that. you think I am in a bad mood on the computer, you really don't want to see me after I have driven a few thousand miles to Minnesota so move mother Fk before I do.
