I thought it was a good film.
I can understand where you're coming from, however.

I can't say that I would have seen the same thing as you. But I can't say that I wouldn't have, either.

Take care, man.

Nothing wrong with it, I enjoyed it (at first)

good background music
words and scenes sound 'purposeful'
sorta motivational, positive...
I just don't buy that
we're ALL "heros" and, that (more importantly) we are CONSIDERED to be "heros" by those who determine our benefits and heathcare.

Everyone should be proud of their effort to keep things spinning. But I don't consider myself a "hero".

This video just irks me subtley...

I don't buy that they are legit in them believing their koolaid "Employees First"?

in my experience, we're not seen as anything but COGS by those on top.
in gov and business...

I feel a HUGE "everyone should be a young freelancer" feel to the website for some reason...

use you up till you're old, then let the fresh meat come in...

I dunno.

Something just doesn't sit right with me on this...
The videos' ok, I just feel something UGLY is behind it...
Maybe it's just a mashup of the days's events.

New tech being so less serviceable
and seeing more and more BS the past few days as I'm peeking behind curtains of so many different BS facades, and see the uglyness behind it all.
Education system. Healthcare system. Government. Local law enforcement. a half dozen city agencies...all layers of BS.

"Employees FIRST, customer's second..."

Maybe it's time to take a walk.

The "truth" is told by the writers of history. When it all falls apart because too many figured out that they could survive on a stipend that the government gives them, the ones that used to work will be called heros.

Obviously, I completely blew this one.
At 1:55, when I saw the smoke (dust) and they started talking about everyone being a hero, I was thinking about 9/11.
I thought I remembered that you were pretty much across the street. Thought that was where you were coming from.

What exactly was the message they were trying to convey in the video? Are they saying that just holding down a job (any job) is a heroic effort? If that's the case, they've set the bar pretty low.

After some trolling on Google, it seems this video was made for a company called HCL, to honor their employees. Apparently, they used a management strategy called "employees first", which made the company pretty successful. So now, they're congratulating their employees for making their management strategy work... by posting a vague video on YouTube.

weird...
