It's Mafoa... And Rob is a stand up guy, he has no problem telling it like it is, good, bad, or indifferent.
Daniel, although I don't know the story as to what is going on right this second , I do know that there were some promises made for the wounded warriors show that weren't kept by somebody. And just so you know, he never comes into T/OT so your post here is for nothing. But, I will be sure to let him know that you sent him a public message, so that it can be addressed. -Jason

Huummm as I thought .... he PM'd me saying that he has told all his members I was NOT a "straight up person" not to mention thief ... anyways he did say the truth about telling HIS SIDE OF THE STORY to all his group ... but I will say mine only once and that will be it ...
On another thread I was wanting to get the GM part number for the clips that held Kris Munson signal covers which were used to hold a GM truck cowl (GM#15999788) I also offered a reward for this number a set of my DIY LED marker kit and a set of covers when I get them done... A florida member sent me that number and so did MR PRESIDENT... so I decided to reward both .... he (MR PRESIDENT) asked to send him the kits and I replied I was going to send him 4 kits ... one for him and 3 to help out the wounded soldiers benefit event. So I packed them up and sent them to him via canada post (4 kits) .... a little over a week before the event he sends me an email saying he DID NOT get the box .... I had sent it regular mail so it would not cost me too much no tracking *krap*.... the box is lost somewhere in the mail .... and with little time left I decided I"ll send him an email with 4 gift certificates for DIY kits that he can print out ... so he can give them to the wounded soldier benefit ..... a couple of days AFTER this event he emails me saying that he DID NOT give them at the event because I was NOT an HONEST seller !!!! Now I sent him a total of 4 kits plus 4 more gift certificates for a total of 8 kits x 50$ each = 400$ an he thanks me with a PM saying I am a crook .... huuummm anyways I have kept ALL his emails for proof... I just wanted to make sure I tell my side of the story because of what he is saying to his members ... CONFIRMED BY Fierofreak00 in the quoted post above
I will NOT say anything else ... this is MY SIDE OF THE WHOLE STORY thats it thats all
regards to all my customers (stay tuned for the signal covers and my LED marker kits ) Danyel admin tylerstoy.dot.com
The only dealings I've had with Danyel were when I bought a set of LED side markers. One of the connectors broke when I was putting them on and Danyel made it good. From my experience, he's an honest business person who stands behind what he sells.

He gave you a part number and is now throwing a fit because the $200 worth of merchandise he was going to get (essentially for nothing) was lost in the mail?
I wonder what he would expect in exchange for real money.
First off I have no idea what you are talking about as I have turned off my PM usage for a while now.I was alearted by a friend of this post. I sent nothing to any of my members as to any of our dealings, you and I know where we stand and just leave to that. Now you spoke your piece on here so be it. I could care less how you run your life. My only correspondance is e-mail 84indy@gmail.com If you have anything further to say do it there if not get over it!
First of all Robb is a great guy and try's to resolve any thing that he can off the forum ... He has been asking me what I think of the whole deal I told him to just squash the situation and just leave it alone he has not bashed you on here or ever said anything bad I have read the emails and I think it's just a misunderstanding but there are things in the email that would should have not been said either ... Danyl not to impressed on the language in them .... But I hear you make a great product and are an asset to the community ...Robb has saved a club from going under and also is a great asset to the community ..... This thread should not of even been started in my opinion

No bashing here just stated MY SIDE OF THE STORY... but when I'm called a thief you can bet your a$$ I will defend myself !!!
This thread is exactly why I barely ever come on the forum. If I do, it's to see the great end products people can make their cars. This thread should have never happened. Whether or not the PM's were nice or threatening, that's where it should of stayed. If I was going to sell a product to someone, I wouldn't worry if there was one incident where someone was unhappy. It doesn't mean you make it public so not only are you trashing one person, you are trashing yourself because you couldnt handle the situation maturely in this case. I am sure you have a great product and I am sure you would do right if both parties didn't have issues. I don't also mean to be rude but why would you send a donation where you couldn't track where it was if you promised them for a show. I know it might be cheaper, that seems pretty odd considering how terrible Canada post is. My last thoughts are for you to close the thread before things get even worse for either side. Doesn't do any good to air anything online so every Tom, Dick, and Harry can know your business.

Personally if there was some transaction that had gone bad, a PM isn't the place either. One should call the person on the phone or drive over and resolve it, if its close enough.
Plus dragging it thru the public side does no good either. Its just a 'she said he said' affair.

this honestly just sounds like a very bad bunch of miss-comunication. it seems you both have a good rep of being honest on here... maybe a phone call and a talk will clear all this up... just a though.
btw, your in canada? ive seen things get "lost" in customs for months for no reason..

Something was being handled privately, and one person "told Dad" by dragging the mess into public domain.

I will not go any further with all this krap .... he probably is a fine person but I think lacks alot of judgement on all this.. Will I make donations to events in the future... HELL NO ... Had my lesson !!!

I don't know about canada but in the usa if I was donating parts to a "cause" i'd have paid the few bucks to track it.. as donations are a tax deduction.. and it's just a good idea.. no beef with either side.. but to not donate to any cause because of this one issue.. isn't wise either.. hope it all works out.. airing it here without a tracking # wasn't really kool.. as it's he said she said.. knowing full well from working car shows when a donation is offered and for whatever reason it doesn't happen, it put the people running the event in a bind,, when it's listed on flyers/emails etc and then isn't aval at time of show..event. this is why we will never list anything to be auctioned off or a prise untill it's in hand.. counting on others be it the one donating or the shipping method always ends up burning you at some point.. peace

Funny, I don't remember getting the club memo pertaining to these events, it must have got lost In the mail.
What I can say is that I was told about the promises of sending actual marker lights early for the show. And then them not being sent when promised, and I believe that this happened more than once (not the certificates that were finally emailed). So no, I don't think I CONFIRMED anything as to what you are complaining about now.
By the way, after typing this, I went and rechecked my mailbox and still no club memo..... -Jason

Any package i get from overseas goes by a reputable carrier and i get a tracking number. Credit cards are also used so that payments can be stopped if need be. ( unless the cost is so low that i'm willing to write it off if it never shows )
Normally i do well, and i only had one package that went missing for 3 months.. It did eventually show. ( ironically, it was coming from Alaska, and got lost somewhere in Canada along the way. )
