This picture was taken last week at a NARAS MusicCares benefit.

I was told it was the 1st time the three of them have been in the same place at the same time in almost 50 years!

"Taken last week"??? Good golly, Miss Molly!!! I thought Bo died in 2008. (Even his "official" web site says so.)

It's not widely known, but back in the 1970s Bo Diddley was a Deputy Sheriff in Valencia County, NM for several years. I always though it would be cool to have received a speeding ticket signed by the legendary Bo Diddley.

That photo reminds me of a childhood memory. Before Little Richard was famous a friend’s older brother came home on leave from the Air Force with some of his records. I’d never heard anything like that before and didn’t like it at the time. A bit later, “Little” was a big star. First time I saw him live was about twelve years after that, playing at a lounge in Las Vegas at the old Aladdin hotel. He was a fading star by then and talked too much but he could still play that piano and sing when he wanted to.

Little Richard--talked too much? Naah--you must be thinking of someone else.....
