I had maybe 2% respect for him prior to this. The Man did what had to be done. Good job, Mayor Booker!

I would leave my respect level where it was. What of that 2% came from his personal life ?

Having spent my entire life in New Jersey, I'd learned that Newark was a pithole best to be stayed out of. It held nothing for me. I set my Respect-O-Meter to the "default" setting of 2% for anything associated with that town. But I haven't checked if that was correct since the late '70"s.

Perhaps it's time for a re-calibration.
