They are there, the TV just doesn't want you to see how easy it would be to get propane.

I will pull up a chair and watch all the little ants scramble around killing each other trying to extend their self-percieved importent lives by any amount of minutes they can scrounge.
In the scramble, I will go largely unnoticed.
After some time passes, I will begin eating the stupid.

It is the one resource there will be an abundance of.

Isn't that stealing?
Or does that not count during the apocalypse?

I mean, when is stealing not stealing?
When the storekeeper has evacuated the store, isn't around, or just dead, etc.?
When does the law against stealing expire?
When there are no cops?
Apocalypse means no more law, everything you want or anything want to do is totally up to you?
Right & wrong is what you say it is?

These are just questions I wonder about.
When is everything up for the taking, when do laws no longer apply, how do those so dead set against stealing TODAY, justify the taking of other peoples property TOMORROW to get what they need to survive?
Would you kill a shop keeper to get what you needed to survive?
Apocalypse>Survival>Might Makes Right?

It may be stealing, but if it's about survival, I'll do what I have to. I would be glad to help anyone if they needed it, but if it comes down to a them or me situation with no chance for compromise, then I would do what I had to.

But you DO see the can of worms this opens for those that have continued to preach over & over that stealing is stealing, no mater what No grey area, all black & white.
So what all of a sudden makes it ok?
The individual's claim to it's nessesity for survival?

Just spitballin' here.

Yes I can see it. Im one that thinks stealing is black and white. If its in a disaster its called looting...same as stealing. Id overlook it more if it was done to perserve life, not because someone just wanted whatever or to support something illegal like drugs.

We have a saying where I live..... "We are 20 years behind everyone else... including the end of the world."
