Not the only reason I ride a Valkyire but a darn good one. Never could ride one of those V Twin Vibrators. I understand why the ladies would like them but, in my case, not so much. One of the smoothest and well balanced engines out there.

My Harley couldn't do that with the nickel laying flat on it's side! (and I wouldn't have it any other way)
Don't get me wrong, to each their own. But, it is one of the reasons I love my Valkyrie. If you ride, you're good with me.

I have a couple of HD rider friends, they're good folks and have a sense of humor to. Told them I always make accomdations for when we ride together, I always bring a tow strap.

That's pretty cool. No way my Yamaha can do that.

No offense meant toward any other motorcycle but there isn't another engine besides the Goldwing that can do that. Smoothest engines made. My closest life long friend rides a 2010 Harley-Davidson and he wouldn't give it up for anything but, he agrees, the Valkyrie is by far smoother, faster and rides better.
There are several faster bikes out there but few in the same class.

I saw a Honda dealer do it with a dime put on edge on the fuel pump of a 1980`s Goldwing with the bike on the center stand and run the motor up to 5G`s and the dime didn`t vibrate off. Never tried it on my 1800 Goldwing but that`s really smooth also. They do that with a Harley a dime and a bottle of super glue. Never thought Super Glue could make a bike run so smooth.

Well, the secret is, the Super Glue is really used to give the tow strap a good place to tie onto that won't fall off.
But, it comes with a disclaimer, the HD has to be wiped down from oil leaks to get he SG to adhere.

I've had alot of V Twins and I like them. I've also had a few GWs. The GWs were much smoother bikes, but I still prefer a V Twin. To each, their own. My Nomad is pretty smooth for a twin but it's liquid cooled so I'm sure the tolerances are a bit tighter than the Harleys.
