I missed the opportunity for R&R in Austrailia while I was in Vietnam. I regret not taking the opportunity, but I knew what I had to come back to.

I was near Alice Springs, once. December, I think. There were these damn little flies that swarmed all over people during daylight. Not sure what they were called. "Cattle files", maybe..

Sydney was nice.

I flew out from California to participate in a computer system installation.

It was a long time ago.

My brother was offered a job, and a few acres in Australia when he was in his late teens. His travel there was even supposed to be paid. The catch was that he was supposed to become a citizen of Australia, and that kept him away.

I was tied to my insane Ex Wife at the time and should have went.

Ive been to broome in WA. Crazy place for a NY'er. Very short visit and nothing but seclusion, sharks and met a huntsman spider! Yikes!

Harmless but scary as heck.

Well he used to...

I had his "Hill one and you're a murderer, kill a hundred and you're a hero" quote on here for awhile.
