For those fellow migraine sufferers, i finally got the answer of why Midrin is gone.. and that it will be coming back. Seems the factory that was making it ( only one?!? ) got shut down by the FDA due to various violations in production quality, and it had nothing to do with the actual drug..

So eventually the stuff will be back on the market ( unless it comes back as a 'new an improved formula' then wont be out in generic for us poor people. )

Midrin? I thought you said Midol. That's a different problem altogether.

Don't laugh, but midol is just yet another OTC painkiller and could help some people with their headaches too. I tried it myself some 20 years ago, out of desperation of finding something.. anything i could take to help them.
