What kind of wood is your guitar made of?

quote
“The Federal Department of Justice in Washington, D.C. has suggested that the use of wood from India that is not finished by Indian workers is illegal, not because of U.S. law, but because it is the Justice Department’s interpretation of a law in India. (If the same wood from the same tree was finished by Indian workers, the material would be legal.) This action was taken without the support and consent of the government in India.”

I am glad the feds have their priorities straight and are focusing their limited resources on the real threats to our peace and security.

I think this refers to feather, not red dot.

It's a conservation act that was violated.

Since when was our Justice Department charged with enforcing laws of other countries. It it doesn't want our government to violate another country's laws, ok, I can see that. Unless I can vote to change other countries laws, I don't care about them and they do not apply to me.

So stupid... I was at that plant a few weeks ago for their artist showcase. Big shindig out back.

I fail to see why the justice department should be enforcing laws that aren't on the books in this country. It's a complete waste of money and time.

My theory is that the Justice Department has been infiltrated by operatives from Fender, who are now subverting the department for their own evil purposes.

Doesn’t our government have something important they need to be doing right now.

Sad thing is they don't need to be idle. there are plenty of legit tings to take up their time. Oh, like 1/2 the world that wants to eradicate us for starters , or the millions of invaders.

But if India doesn't care, why should we, Nurb?

Gibson should announce a new model made from MDF with the pickups mounted in a plexiglass inlay.
