Glad to hear he lived a long and full life. Sorry he had to go, and for all those who knew him good vibes and remember he is never truly gone as long as you remember him.
Again.
Good vibes to anyone who knew him and him.
The thing that got me when my granddad came to visit was he had all those old photos of him and others when he was young. He would look at those pictures and you could see a tear welling up in his eyes when he told us about them.
So for those who still have ageing parents and grandparents. Spend some time with them, as much as you can. And listen to them, their stories, their memories. They are as precious as they are.
Sorry for your loss.
And if it helps, I haven’t posted it in a while.
Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glint on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you wake in the morning hush,
I am the swift, uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circling flight.
I am the soft starlight at night.
Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there, I do not sleep.
(Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there, I did not die!

Remember him, he will never really be gone.
