Just means the party is now considered a legitimate threat to the people in power. You don't attack what isn't a threat.

Maybe Ray, because one of our own making can be controlled if we actually handle it right, and once and for all get rid of this debt and deficit. If not now--WHEN?

(yeah I know--who cares 'when'--as long as it isn't now and doesn't affect ME)

And just who pulls the puppet strings for the Democrats?

Maybe Geoge Soros, a guy who makes billions from currency manipulations and who benefits greatly from the financial mess.

I'm asking an honest question here. Has the tea party released what exactly they want to cut to balance the budget? Is there a document that shows exactly how and when the budget would be balanced without raising taxes?

I think the Paul Ryan budget plan does. The "Mack penny" plan does. "Cut, cap and balance" puts a framework around all of it.

Finish the quote for heavens sake, " Great minds think alike, fools seldom differ". Who wants a depression? Look at some of the governments that have risen from economic collapse, some of the most ruthless dictatorships in history, all in the name of the common good, and they were elected. I believe the mainstream republicans will try to crush the tea party after the next presidential election and they will try to enlist the democrats for help.

Think if he continues to suck big time, they my put a ton of pressure on him not to run.
Hillary is probably getting a couple of tucks as I type!

The best comment I have heard thus far is "Blaming the TEA Party is like attacking the Fire Department when they come to put out the fire that's burning down your house".

Scary thing is.. I would have perferred Hillary. Yes she's a self proclaimed "Progressive" but she was also an experienced political operative and had at least a modicum of experience. She probably would have micromanaged the heck out of everything but she would know the fallout and played the polls to do things to keep her numbers up.
Obama punted to Pelosi and Reid and went golfing.

Sure many of the dems who voted for him over her would take their vote back.
Even some of the liberals who did their best to destroy her in the primary are probably having second thoughts by now.

Yeah, as bad as Hillary would have been, she still would have been better than the irishman.
She would have pushed her own version of HillaryCare and entitlements, but I don't think she'd have gone out of her way to throw so many of our long time allies under the bus.

If that was a reference to Egypt's Mubarak.. well, I think he dived under the wheels of the bus, despite Obama's best efforts to restrain him! What Mubarak did was suicide. And it didn't start with Obama. Previous U.S. administrations had already tried to make the light bulb go on in Mubarak's thick head and encourage him to abandon his corrupt and autocratic (and ultimately self-destructive) methods.
