I predict that PFF will have been blocked by the Interpornoweb Decency Filters for "decent content" as a result of the p0rn industry buying Google in 2015.

    Yes, really.
Did I say your motive was somehow secret or nefarious? No.
But you DO have a motive - as you just stated above.
By declaring you have "no motive" you're insinuating your information is somehow more truthful or more valuable that someone else's.

Of course, you already know this.

    "Insinuating" is only your opinion.
    Don't make it fact.
Only what you "think" I "mean".

So silly trying to make something read (red) from nothing said.

    2020 Predictions:

Gasoline in the US will reach $7/gallon
Former President Obama will have won his 8th Nobel Prize but still be trying to raise enough money to get his library built
Ulanstan will still not have written a single complete sentence
Global Cooling will be the doctrine of the day and thanks to MSNBC, CNN, and Bill Maher, it will always have been the doctrine
People will still ask of the Fiero, "hey, didn't those things catch on fire"?

You're right. You may have been completely unaware of the subtext of your posts and had nothing on your mind... at all. That could have been all my reading between the lines.
Typically when someone sets up a contrast between two things, they're trying to illustrate a difference. You compare the advice you give, called "the real deal" with advice others give as "the same old company line." You also mention your information is the type only available to someone of your years, which suggests it's rare because of your experience and that somehow makes it more valuable than information from someone of lesser years and experience.

Your "motive" appears to be to get them to make up their own minds and be free thinkers; however, that's prefaced by suggesting that can only be due to the information you give them, since the "same old company line" would have them turn into the same type of cynics as their elders.

Did I misread any of what you said? Did you really mean that even though your information is the "real deal" you're NOT saying it's somehow better or more valuable than "the same old company line?" If I've misinterpreted what you meant, I apologize. Please elaborate so we'll all know exactly what message your post was meant to convey.

Oh please Boonie... now you're playing the emotionally scarred victim. Come on... you're more man than that.

My responses weren't so aggressive, I was just having a conversation with you, and I stopped when you more or less asked me to.

Look back.........was anyone else's post questioned?
    That's all I claim.
The nature of this thread was not intended as an examination of me, nor was it's structure ment to put each others answers up for debate.

Dude, I don't really fault you, nor do I think you were trying to start anything.
Nor do I think your intention was to derail this thread, or ruin it in any way.
It is just the way it worked out.
And I also share in the blame for that.

Live & learn, always, it seems.

Wow, and I just thought I was just saying some stuff.......just speaking, really.
I guess I gotta' be more careful.

When I said "the real deal" I was refering to what it means to ME.
    How I see it.
    My opinion of it's value.

The comparison between "the same old company line" and "the real deal" was my comparrison, my view, my opinion.
It was structured and stated as an opinion, my opinion, and not as historical fact.

I hope this clears up my "motives"?

I predict that I will retire from the military and go on welfare. The 55% retirement that I was promised will be reduced to 25% this fall to pay for Obama's first term misdeeds and dropped to 0% to pay for his second term misdeeds.
I agree with williegoat; older cars will no-longer run on the reformulated gas that Kalifornia created eliminate classic cars from our roadways.
I predict that we will be fighting in Iran and *.stan.
I predict that the Discovery channels, CNN and Foxnews will be the only networks with programs other than reality shows. Albeit you will have to wait until 2am to see them.
I predict the US dollar will not be used for anything outside the US anymore. Well, maybe TP.
I predict that automakers will be forced to build a percentage of their cars as 100% electrics. This will cause most automakers to take huge losses since the battery technology still won't be here.
I predict the first voluntary cyborg will be running around. It will be some poor shmoe that Verizon payed to get a Smartphone installed in their brain.
I predict the ignorant masses will be just as happy as they are today.

On a lighter note, I predict I will be 43 with two teenage daughters.
I also predict that I will be very well armed!
