miami my DSL is sometimes more like dial up resently
last two weeks it was real bad
and last two days up and down

anyone else having DSL problems ??

I have AT&T DSL and always have problems. They say it's my modem, but I haven't bought a new one yet. If your modem a 2Wire?

on my third a stingray then two of these

others just died dead

ATT said area problems after 3rd call today

Rest assured, here in California I had Pacific Bell DSL before AT&T bought them years ago and it has ALWAYS been bullshit. I was told that I was "too far away from the hub" so that was the reason for my dropped signal every once in a while as well as when more people were on the same link, it was going to be slower. Needless to say, I went to cable after too much crap with DSL.

loading freezes 15 minutes to see if the last post was up
edit now normal but for how long

I totally miss that Stingray... that was such a cool design back in the day.

Yeah, my dad has ATT DSL... the router flakes out. My parents can't both be on at the same time anymore. As soon as my mom connects wirelessly, and my dad is on at the same time, it drops the connection.

I have U-Verse at my house though, and it works well.

I lose internet several times a night with ATT DSL. The answer is always "reboot your router" which does nothing.

ATT sent a guy to check my line
but he said the area was having problems
and the problems were not in my set up

speed check said my DSL is running at 0.15 to 0.25 mbps
s/b 3.0m
when it is working with drop outs and part page loads

we will see if they fix it

the other odd thing was at 10 am they tell me it will be fixed by 4;53 pm
not before 5pm or around 5 but exactly at 4;53
it was not in fact it was down at that time intil after 12pm
and then up and down

page failed to load correctly on this posts first try


edit down 45 min after this post
new fixed by time is 7;57 pm
with 83 dsl's accounts effected
we will see
