It would be highly debated, but we could all solve our own crimes (I mean crimes commited upon a person, not crimes you commited (others would look into it for that). Car got jacked? Sterio got jacked? Property got vandalized? Loved one got harmed? ect.

I'm sure it would never happen, but what if? I'm pretty sure the technology is there, just not available to the public.

Some would find a way to make it illegal on the ground of imposing on privacy. would be nice but way ahead of our tec

If google earth was live I would think crime would go up.
"Hey, lets go rob Jim's house and get his safe"
"He might be home"
"Lemme check Google Earth. Yep, his car is at work".

its your job, their truck, their responsibility. no privacy invade imho, unless you are using the rig for personal purposes...

and to the OP...even i find that wrong. that would be the equivalent of having a camera on you ALL THE TIME you are outside. LITERALLY EVERYWHERE. yeah, there are cameras all over the place, but, not EVERYWHERE.

Probably, but maybe eventually it will be more accessible (for a fee).

Google is Skynet. They will soon be tracking EVERYTHING. They already have ALL of our passwords. Know all the sites you are going to. Are on TONS of our phones. You willingly allow them to store and mine your information like:
location
passwords
search history
buying habits
everything

I am not saying I am any better, just that I realize it and don't think many do. Eh, screw it, I will probably die before the machines take over anyway.

I will lay waste to your promise land.

Ohh i know that Its just sometimes with tech and all that you never know waht there capable of... Thoes quallcoms are pretty advanced for what they are (still have a lot of flaws but still) The new ones are kind of creepy because they can do just about anything from surf the web if you have the option unlocked to report an accident. Whos to say they can listen into whats going on in the truck.. not that i have anything to hide or anything... there also a pain in the neck.. they breaks have a sensor on them that reads If you hit the breaks to hard the thing goes and tells on you requiring you to call your dispatcher to let them know everything's ok.. I've already triggered it twice bot of the times because of some stupid 4 wheeler with a death wish..

They would need cameras EVERYWHERE.

I doubt that will ever happen just because of the sheer money involved. I do not think the government would bat an eye though. It'd be "for our safety."

Reminds me of Minority Report. :shivers:
